GLIDING

The opportunities for cadets to experience gliding in the Air Training Corps is second to no other youth organisation in the world. With the largest fleet of gliders, cadets not only have chance to take control, they can also experience the exhilaration of actually flying solo.

GIC (Gliding Induction Course)
The first experience of gliding a cadet has will be the GIC, a one day course designed to give cadets an introduction to gliding and a taste for more. Recently the course content has changed allowing younger cadets to participate.
