344 (Fulham) Squadron regularly attends and runs it's own camps.
On average, the Squadron will run a weekend camp about
every 7 weeks. These camps include activities like: Campcraft,
Survival, Leadership Courses, Expeditions (DoE) and competition
training. The Squadron will usually run 2 camps per year
to places like Wales for loads of specialist training:
Mountain Walking, Canoeing, Rock Climbing etc.. These last
about 1 week.
Annual Camp
Every Squadron is allocated places for their cadets to attend
an annual camp on a Royal Air Force station. On these camps
cadets practice all of their training and compete against
other units in a range of activities. On most of these
camps the RAF will organise flights in their aircraft.
Cadets on annual camps get familiarisation flights in all
types of aircraft.

Overseas Camps
Cadets
that are over the age of 16 and have reached a certain
level in their academic training are able to apply
for a position on the ATC overseas camps.
Current camps
are based in Germany, Cyprus, Gibraltar and the USA.
On these camps cadets are entertained with a different
type of program that they would normally be used to
on a UK annual Camp. The program is much more varied
with the extra interest of the different country.

Gliding Camps
Cadets also go on camps to complete their glider training.
Sometimes they can go to camp for 3 weekends in 6 weeks
to complete a gliding course that can get them to fly solo.
