344 Squadron activities over the summer

344 Squadron has been busy over the 2017 summer. It started with Wing Athletics for which 344 won some awards, and even sent a cadet to Regional Athletics.

We’ve had first flying, and gliding experiences, an annual camp that 344 was invited on by 291 Squadron (which included a lazer tag), promotions, Non-Commissioned Officer courses, as well as internal badminton competitions and first aid practice.

344 Squadron has finally got its Flight Simulator up and running, which FS Penning is taking a lead on teaching cadets.

The summer is drawing to a close though, and we are now preparing for London Wing Field Day where Squadrons all over London compete in a drill competition, first aid, air craft modelling, and recognition.

Wish us luck.
